This week we enjoyed rockstar day and had a go at our 1 minute maths challenge. We have loved reading the story of 'Beegu' as well!

Sorting, counting, jumping & landing

Year 1 have had another busy week. We have enjoyed sorting objects in different ways and making sure we count objects accurately. We have had our first PE sessions and used lots of equipment to develop our balancing, jumping and landing skills.

Welcome to Year 1! It has been a great first week and all the children have settled in well. They have enjoyed spending time with their friends and exploring a new classroom. We have had a busy final week, making windmills and ice lollies. It has been a fantastic year of learning together and Miss Smith and I will miss all the children as they move onto year 2. Thank you for all your support and we wish you a wonderful summer break!
