PE days this term are Monday and Tuesday.
Please bring in pumps, wellies and spare clothes to leave in the cloakroom.
Please bring in water bottles, yellow reading records and appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather each day.
Please return all reading books on Thursdays.

Wet Playtime!

It's been wet wet wet recently, and yesterday afternoon during yet another rainy playtime, we got the construction toys out. Year 1 had a great time working collaboratively and produced some very impressive creations!
"Spirited Art"

As part of Interfaith Week, we have been creating 'spirited art' inspired by the Christian value of peace. Year 1 used their painting, drawing, cutting and sticking skills to create their beautiful artwork. 
Interfaith Day

We had a brilliant day today on our Interfaith Day. Year 1 were separated into different classes for the day, each group including a mix of Years 1-6. Each 'class' moved around six different classrooms, learning about a different faith in each. Year 1 were able to share lots of new learning and worked really well with the older children.
Bikeability

Year 1 have loved their first Bikeability session with Cycle North today. We are looking forward to two more sessions next week!
Reading Morning

We are pleased to be able to invite Year 1 parents to a weekly reading morning in Year 1, each Thursday from 8.50am - 9.10am. Come along to the classroom to enjoy some books with your child and their friends. The first of our new reading mornings will take place on Thursday 10th November. We look forward to welcoming you.
