Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Orienteering

As part of Maths Day today, the children had fun having a starter lesson on our brand new orienteering course! They had to orient their maps to find various maths challenges around the field and playground. It was great to have a new challenge! They also enjoyed making tessellations this afternoon, inspired by Esher. Some of the children have taken the instructions home so you might get chance to see what we did over the weekend!
