Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

World Book Day

What a fab, fun World Book Day! The children looked super cosy in their pyjamas and we had lots of lovely book-related activities - a very competitive emoji quiz, a BBC lesson and art activity about our book behaviours, a mixed-year book buddy session, storytime with Miss Dakin and a couple of rounds of book Hangman to finish off. Keep up all the super reading, Year 3 - the skill that takes you on many adventures in life!
