Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 3!
Welcome to Year 3, and to Key Stage 2! Please find below all the information you should need for a smooth transition to Year 3!
On this page, you should find everything you need to know - our Meet the Teacher Information Evening presentation, curriculum map, knowledge organisers and weekly blog (starting on Friday) are full of information but please contact us should there be anything else you need - please address any emails to both teachers.
Mrs Moleele will be teaching on Mondays and Tuesdays and Miss Christie will teach on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mrs McDonald and Miss McNamara will be our teaching assistants all week. Miss Smith and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.

Rockstars

What a great day! The children looked amazing for Times Tables Rockstars Day! It was so hard to choose costume winners but Jake and Ted just pipped several others to the post - thank you all for your efforts!
We enjoyed an extra long session of TTRS in class too, with a few children (and a certain teacher!) showing their competitive side in our class arenas! Ted, Leo and Ollie are my closest rivals for now…but if previous years are anything to go by, I’ll soon be left for dust for much of the class! Keep practising, Year 3 - you’re well on the way to Rock Hero status!
Sticking with the maths theme, don’t forget Mathletics tasks are set on Fridays - well done to those who’ve been keeping up so far!
And finally, spellings homework did go out today but several sheets were left behind so they’ll be ready for Monday if you don’t have one.
