Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Trinity

This week, we have been delving deeper into the meaning of the trinity. The children had some great thoughts and questions. We looked at how, as well as through the bible, Christians express the trinity through the arts - poetry, song and paintings, so we wrote some kenning poetry, a verse to a song we learnt and we studied some paintings, with some effective results!
