Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Half way through the year!

It's been a busy week as usual in Year 3 with the children completing various end of topic quizzes, tests and pieces of writing and despite the obvious excitement and tiredness for the end of the half term, they have taken their work seriously and tried really hard. (I did have some photos but my iPad is also ready for a half term holiday and is not letting me upload them, sorry!) The children will be ready to relax next week - have a great half term and see you when we get back.
PS - Spelling test at the end of the first week back will be a combination of words the children should know from KS1 and I will upload the new spellings in the first week back, ready for Week 2.
