Real Science!
Posted: Oct 18, 2024 by: H Christie (hfountain) on: Year 3 Class Blog
What a science lesson we've had today! As well as investigating whether taller people can jump further (stay tuned for our conclusions next week!), Ellis brought us in some amazing scientific items. The class loved seeing some 'real science' and Ellis was able to explain what everything was and where it had come from! Thanks for helping inspire us, Ellis!
P.S As we have reached the end of the half term’s spellings, for next week, I would like the children to work on a combination of spellings and handwriting. I have sent home a Y3/4 expected spellings list, with the first 16 words highlighted, and a copy of our handwriting alphabet. Please could the children practice writing out the words in their best handwriting for next week - there will be house points for the most impressive effort, to be handed in on Friday. There will be no spelling test next week but I have put next half term’s spellings on our class page on the website which will be tested on the first Friday back.
