Welcome to Year 3
Miss Riches is our class teacher, supported part time by Mrs Pullan, and Mrs Starkey will cover PPA time.
PE days will be Tuesday and Wednesday (swimming).
The first swimming session is Wednesday 16th September.
Reading books will be collected in on a Thursday and sent home on a Thursday.
Spellings will be sent home on a Wednesday and tested on Wednesday.
Mental arithmetic will be tested on a Wednesday.
Please make sure water bottles are brought in each day and pumps are in school for each child.

Hockey players in the making!

This term in PE we are learning how to play hockey! Over the past few weeks, the children have been developing their hockey skills by:
- Controlling a ball, understanding how it moves and different ways to provide a pass and score.
- Working within a team to achieve a flow of passing (In Possession) vs. an opposition.
- Understanding the importance of space, safety and movement in hockey.
We are looking forward to playing some mini games over the next few weeks, putting our skills to the test!
