Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 2! Please find on this page all the information you might need this year. There is a long term plan as well as Autumn's knowledge organisers below, which will be updated termly. Should you need anything further, please get in touch!
Mrs Moleele will be teaching on a Monday and Tuesday and Miss Christie will teach on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Miss Smith will support the children throughout the week with Mrs McDonald and Miss Battye sharing the week between them.

First week in Year 2!

We have had a wonderful first week back in Year 2. All the children have come back to school eager to get going with our learning.
Our learning this week has focused on a book called ‘The Planet in a Pickle Jar’. We read the story together and each child has written part of the story, designed a pickle jar and made this for our display. They thought about and decided what they wanted to preserve from the world and put this in their pickle jar. There are some excellent ideas!
