Welcome to Autumn Term in Year 2! Please find on this page all the information you might need this year. There is a long term plan as well as Autumn's knowledge organisers below, which will be updated termly. Should you need anything further, please get in touch!
Mrs Moleele will be teaching on a Monday and Tuesday and Miss Christie will teach on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Miss Smith will support the children throughout the week with Mrs McDonald and Miss Battye sharing the week between them.

This week in phonics we have been reviewing the 'oo' sound (oo as in moon). At the start of the week, we began thinking about all the different ways of spelling the sound and made different headings to sort the words we were reviewing. By the end of the week, we had 11 different ways of spelling the sound and various words with that way of spelling it.
Can you think of any more words that we could add?
