The weather has been hot this week .Most people in the Uk are sweating due to the scorching sun. Most people in the Uk are probably thinking of ways to keep cool (example)people are buying freeze pops and fans to keep cool.Stocks in Uk shops are running out of freeze pops! Most schools in England are turning off lights since they create heat and our school even did a slip in slide! Some schools are shut.
England vs Ghana!

The England match this week was a hilight of the week and it was very tough between England and Ghana. The match was quite a good chance until Declan Rice did an awful kick! There were a lot of misses And the match ended up 0-0. We couldn't believe it! England had a lot of attempt but Ghana did really good defence.
England vs Croatia

England vs Croatia started on Wednesday night. They’re both good at football.While England is the 4th best, Croatia is not even in the top 10 best football countries.
It was a very tough match but it wasn’t a long. Time when ENGLAND SCORED A GOAL. Then the England crowd got hyped from the goal. But there were a plot twist it wasn’t a goal but they had an another chance for redemption then IT WAS A REAL GOAL.
Croatia scored a goal against the England goalkeeper.They celebrated with a move.England scored an another goal 3:1 CROATIA SCORED a GOAL 3:2.THEN IT’S ALMOST ENDING BUT ENGLAND CLUTCHED WITH A GOAL4:2 game over.

Sports day was very tight between all the teams which are Bolton, Kirkstall, Fountains, Riveaulx. And Bolton was the winner
Mrs Dean

Mrs Dean was the school business manager and she has left ASJ. She would take care of the money and sort problems, for example if the toilets were clogged she would sort it out or if there was a problem with the roof she would call a roof company. Also she would let us go on school trips for example Mr Tosta asked if he could go on a residential.
